Meringue chocolate cake

Prep time : 25 minutes + 45 minutes cooking
For a cake of 18cm diameter :
Moelleux :
120g dark chocolate
Whisk together eggs, yolks, sugar and maple syrup.
Add the melted chocolate and butter.
Stir in the flour, salt and baking powder.
Pour the batter into your buttered pan/ring.
Bake for 20 minutes at 170°C, during which time prepare the meringue (it must be ready at the end of the 20-minute baking time).
Meringue :
2 egg whites
Spread the meringue on the cake as soon as it comes out of the oven, sprinkle with a little cocoa and mix lightly with a knife.
Bake again for about 20 minutes at 150°C. The meringue should be cooked on the outside when you take it out of the oven. Let cool, then remove from the mould and enjoy!
